What I Do...

I shoot a mixture of traditional, reportage style and documentary photographs of your whole wedding day. Aside from any formal and group shots you may require, I try to remain as unobtrusive as possible whilst photographing you and your guests enjoying the occasion. Most importantly, your guests will not be waiting around while I work, capturing the atmosphere and fun. Much of the time you won't know I am there.

I start with the bride getting ready for the day at home or at the hairdressers, and take it right through to the beginning of the dancing after the meal. Frequently I’ll stay on until I have as perfect a set of pictures as possible.

I work on my own, and only ever cover one wedding a day. Every wedding is different and unique and I very much try to avoid cliched images. My photographs depict the reality of the day.

Weddings are both challenging and exciting to photograph but they are also significant events of enormous importance to those involved. I try to capture the laughter and the joy, and even the occasional tears!

What do you get?

You will receive a complete set of high resolution colour photos of the day, (minus those images which I consider not to have worked), all optimized for density and colour balance and supplied on a DVD (normally in the region of 400 photographs.) These can be viewed using any web browser or photo explorer on any computer. This is your record to keep of your wedding celebration photographs. You will be able to have prints made, email them to your friends, or transform them into a digital slide show.

I will also provide a set of 30 high quality photographic prints to A4 size. These will comprise a mixture of colour, black & white and sepia and will be my own selection of pictures telling the story of your day. Copyright of all of the photography will remain with me but you are entirely free to do whatever you want with your images for personal, non-profit and non-commercial purposes. I will also upload a selection (100-200) of your photographs to a password protected page on my website for your family and friends to view and purchase.
